I'm back. I don't know why I ever stopped writing. I don't know why I forgot how to write.

Is that even possible? To forget how to do what you love best?

Today the rains came pouring in. Today I woke up with a smile on my face.

I stayed in bed for 2 extra hours. The sound of the rain against the roof, the smells of the rain, the music on my iPod, the book in my hands; today was a good day.

I can't brag about accomplishing much. Mostly I spent the day in front of Santiago, my new love, my little red notebook. I did the usual, but today I opened my blogs. The memories that came with each post, I can't even describe that feeling. I didn't realize how much I missed this, how much I missed writing down my thoughts. I never cared it anyone read it, I never cared for comments, all I cared to do was to write. I write like someone will read each post; i'm lucky if someone ever will. Will, won't, what matters is that I'm doing what I love best.

As the rain continues, the breeze and the smell of the salt water make me think of sleep and lullaby music. Right now I wish for sleep, but I know it won't come until later tonight. So I'm making the most of what I have and I'm here, back where I'm at my best.

Yes, this is my best.

I'd tell you if you just met me to read my blog, just so that you can get to know me better. Sure, chats and texts are fine, talking to me when you see me is cool too... but you don't know me until you read what I write. Because when I write, I write it straight from my thoughts. I don't have an edit button up there 'ya know.

So as this comes to an end, I promise to return.

Maybe in a day or two. Most likely in an hour... maybe less?
